As you know, skincare is a huge priority for me. After all, our skin is the only outfit we wear every single day for the rest of our lives, so we must take care of it! As a mom to baby Kaia, it can be challenging to spend time on myself, especially to leave the house and go get a professional facial. Fortunately, there are plenty of great products that you can use at home for a great facial without leaving your house.

DHC oil cleanser

The first step in this facial is DHC Deep Cleansing Oil. It is fantastic at removing makeup and impurities from the skin by binding with them, whether it’s waterproof mascara, makeup, sunscreen, or the grime from the day. Apply with dry hands to your dry face and gently rub it in, and then rinse with warm water. You’ll be clean and refreshed, and won’t have a residue left on your skin. It’s full of free-radical fighting antioxidants, and made with botanical ingredients like organic olive oil, vitamin E, and rosemary leaf oil.

Once your skin is makeup-free, take cleaning it a step further with Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser. This product is a powder-to-foam deep cleaning agent that exfoliates as well, using the enzymes to gently do so (as opposed to a physical exfoliant that can be harsh and damaging to your skin). Place the powder in the palm of your hand and add lukewarm water, then massage the two together until it foams. Gently apply it to your face, and rinse. Your skin will feel smooth and revitalized right away!

Facial Nano Steamer (Amazon)

The next item is available on Amazon, and is a facial nano steamer. Using steam on your face helps improve hydration, and helps soften any dirt or oil that may be lodged in pores (like blackheads). Nano steamers have very small ionic particles that make them even more effective, and increase the penetration of your skincare into your pores and improves your circulation and cell vitality.

Biologique Recherche Lotion P50

If you’ve been following me a while, you know that one of my holy grail products is the Biologique Recherche Lotion P50, which is a great exfoliating and balancing toner. It’s no surprise that this is a go-to for me for at-home facials, since I love it for travel, and swear by it in general! It helps to resurface your skin, and is a celebrity favorite. You won’t be disappointed, and it’s absolutely worth the price!

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Clarifying Colloidal Sulfur Mask

For those with acne-prone skin, the Clarifying Colloidal Sulfur Mask by Dr. Dennis Gross could be a game-changer. It is meant to be used overnight anywhere you have blemishes, including hormonal acne. It does have a sulfur-smell, but it’s worth it to have beautiful, clear skin!

Finally, if you have clear skin, but are seeking a youthful and revitalized glow, look no further than the Sisley Paris Black Rose Cream Mask, which smooths, plumps, and brightens skin by delivering healthy ingredients that protect it, too! Use it two to three times per week for ten to fifteen minutes, and know that you will look incredible once it’s done doing its magic!

These products can make a perfect self-care Saturday, Sunday, or any day to make sure that your skin looks its best without even leaving the house!
